JHT Announces Executive Team Promotions

September 5, 2017 - Orlando FL - JHT Chief Executive Officer Jim Jardon announced the promotion of two key executive team members: Carla Holoman to President and Chief Operating Officer and Matt Robinson to Executive Vice President Business Development and Chief Strategy Officer. Transitioning into her new role, Mrs. Holoman will assume the lead in communicating and implementing the vision, mission and direction of JHT while continuing to oversee the daily operations of the organization. As CSO, Mr. Robinson has been charged with assisting the CEO in developing, communicating and executing JHT’s corporate strategic initiatives. In his role as EVP, Business Development, he will continue to drive business growth in both new and existing market segments. “The promotion of Carla and Matt into these key roles is well deserved and will position JHT to accelerate our growth trajectory” said Mr. Jardon. “Their background, strategic vision and solid leadership skills will perpetuate our corporate objectives and enhance our competitive stance in the marketplace.” Carla Holoman joined JHT in 2001 as Director of Information Technology before transitioning to SVP of Program Management and most recent as Chief Operating Officer. She is a former United States Air Force Officer and has served as program manager at Georgia Institute of Technology and senior manager at Qwest Communications in Dublin, Ohio. Mrs. Holoman received a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Alabama. Matt Robinson joined JHT in 2015 as SVP of Business Development. He is an active United States Navy reservist and has held senior positions with Spyglass Engineering Inc. and Lockheed Martin. Mr. Robinson earned a Bachelor of Science degree at Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a Masters of Business Administration from San Diego State University. JHT Announces RS3 Win

May 23, 2017 - Orlando FLJHT Incorporated announced that they were selected for award under the Army Communications-Electronics Command (CECOM) Responsive Strategic Sourcing for Services (RS3) Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract. It is a five-year base award with a five year option and has a total value of $37.4 billion.JHT was selected as Small Business prime contractor on RS3, which will allow for the pursuit of CECOM work that falls within the small business set-aside criteria. RS3 is a follow on to the existing Rapid Response 3rd Generation (R23G) vehicle and will be used to procure services in support of Army C4ISR equipment, including engineering along with product support development and training. JHT Awarded Navy AATT Sub-Contract

May 23, 2017, Orlando FLJHT Incorporated announced today that they were awarded a subcontract to support the Aegis Ashore Team Trainer (AATT) maintenance effort. This contract is a delivery order under the PC-based Open architecture for Reconfigurable Training Systems (PORTS) IDIQ under which JHT is a subcontractor to Northrop Grumman. It is a one-year contract with a value of $1.2 million.The AEGIS Ashore Team Trainer provides the capability to train to individual watchstander level of qualification and then train to certification level for the entire AEGIS Ashore Missile Defense System (AAMDS) Combat Information Center (CIC) watch team prior to deployment to Romania. The AATT (CIC Training Subsystem and A3C4I Training Subsystem) is installed in CSCS Detachment Dam Neck, Virginia.The statement of work requires that JHT design and deliver a 3D simulation maintenance trainer for the A3C4I Training Subsystem that incorporates multi-touch, pressure sensitive gestures found in the proxSIMity Advanced Touch System. The maintenance trainer will communicate with the existing A3C4i operations trainer and the CIC Training Subsystem.“The A3C4I Maintenance Trainer is an important enhancement to the existing Aegis Ashore training platform,” said Monte Watson, JHT Program Manager for the AATT contract. “JHT’s development team is well poised to contribute the technical capabilities in 3D modelling, simulation programming and naval C4I subject matter expertise required to develop this trainer. JHT Supports the Navy League Wounded Warfighter 5K

Apr. 5, 2017, Orlando FLThe Central Florida Navy League hosted their 8th Annual Wounded Warfighter 10K and 5K run/walk/roll fundraiser at Blue Jacket Park on Saturday, April 1. The Navy League hosts the event each year as a means to preserve the rich Navy history in Central Florida and to complete three phases of commemoration on the formal training center grounds. JHT supported the event by sponsoring a water station and four runners for the event. Runners included Liz Ahern, Carla Holoman, Millie Roman and Kris Acevedo. Water station workers included Jerome Hinds, Tracey Frost, Evelyn Acevedo and Tiffany Sanders. View photos here.

Mar. 6, 2017, Orlando FLJHT Incorporated announced today that they were awarded two five-year government support contracts: one from the Defense Office of Hearings and Appeals (DOHA) and a second from the Defense Equal Opportunity Management Institute (DEOMI). Both contracts are firm-fixed price with a combined value of $19,500,000.The Defense Office of Hearings and Appeals, a component of the Defense Legal Services Agency, provides hearings and issues decisions in personnel security clearance cases for DoD Civilian and Military personnel as well as contractor personnel performing classified work for all DoD components and 31 other Federal Agencies and Departments. JHT has provided support to DOHA for over 15 years and will manage 26 full-time employees as a result of the win.“I am extremely pleased about this award,” said Frank Loomis, JHT Program Manager for the DOHA contract. “It demonstrates that our support to the customer is greatly appreciated and is a testament to the successful collaborative efforts of our internal team.”The Defense Equal Opportunity Management Institute’s (DEOMI) mission is to support the Office of the Secretary Defense (OSD) and Services on assessment, training, education, research, development, knowledge management (clearinghouse), and consultation related to human relations issues intra-service and Department of Defense (DoD)-wide. JHT Team Supports Manatee Rescue In South Carolina

Dec. 22, 2016, Orlando FLA team of JHT employees in Charleston, South Carolina joined a collaborative and successful effort in rescuing four endangered manatees. The rescue mission took place over the course of two days and involved several national, state and local agencies.A drop in water temperature within the Cooper River and a warm water outflow, adjacent to the KapStone Paper Mill, caused the marine mammals to go off course which distanced them from essential food resources and their natural habitat. Representatives from KapStone saw an opportunity to assist with the safety of the manatees by monitoring them and reporting their activity back to the rescue team.On December 8, JHT associates Brian Balmer, Brian Quigley, Eric Zolman and Todd Speakman (all representing the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration) joined U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, The South Carolina Department of Natural Resources and Sea World Orlando Rescue Team in locating and capturing the adult male and female manatees. They were reported healthy after careful examination and subsequently returned to the wild near Port St. John in Brevard County by Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission later that same day. Dec. 12, 2016, Orlando FLJHT congratulates Dr. Ben Farmer, Research Directorate, at the Defense Equal Opportunity Management Institute, for his paper presentation during the DEOMI Collaborative Series on December 7. The two-day event included training sessions and presentations focused on diversity and inclusion within the U.S. military. Dr. Farmer’s submission entitled How Research Informs Training and Education Regarding Transgender Inclusion was part of a panel presentation on the topic of LGBT service members. Additional speakers included professors from the University of Central Florida and Florida Southern College.
